1. Female Finance Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Salary up to £6,300 pa (10.5 hours per week, £21,000 pro rata)

This post is women only, the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1 applies

Woman’s Trust seeks a Female Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Maintaining the charity’s accounting records using QuickBooks
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Quick Books accounting package is operated accurately and efficiently, and kept up to date
  • Ensuring all payments and expenses are correctly procured, authorised, processed and paid, including monthly salary payments, PAYE & NI and pension payments
  • Acting as primary point of contact with bank, suppliers and clients. Responsible for resolving all queries with project managers/coordinators about invoices and contacting suppliers with queries where necessary
  • Ensuring that accurate BACS details and email addresses are held for suppliers and clients
  • Setting up BACS run every two weeks
  • Banking all cheques and cash received on a regular basis
  • Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts
  • Processing all income received, invoicing Funders and training participants
  • Administration of pension auto enrolment
  • Maintenance of petty cash spreadsheet and process staff/volunteer’s expenses
  • Dealing with donations and filing Gift-Aid claims

Assistance to Finance Manager for:

  1. Preparation of Management Accounts and other reports as required by the Trustees
  2. Preparation of accounts at year end and liaison with auditors as necessary
  3. Provision of financial information for monitoring returns.

2. Support Groups Project Administrator (maternity cover)

Salary up to ££11,400 pa (FTE £19,000)

Responsibilities include:

 Support Groups

    1. Manage the assessment waiting list, book appointments and follow up
    2. Flag up any long waiting list to the Groupworkers
    3. Take referrals over the phone
    4. Ensure that all client data is up to date
    5. Provide administrative support to the East and West London Groupworkers
    6. Ensure all data is received and entered promptly
    7. Advertise and mail-out support groups flyers
    8. Deal with all bookings and enquiries
    9. To follow up any missing forms (e.g. CORE, Exit Questionnaire)


  1. Advertise and mail-out workshop flyers
  2. Deal with all bookings and enquiries
  3. Provide up to date participant list to facilitator before event
  4. Sent text reminders to booked clients before the workshops
  5. Monitoring 
    1. Assist in providing statistical information from the database (e.g. outputs, outcomes) as required
    2. Keep monitoring schedule for all reports to funders up to date
    3. Provide monitoring reports, as requested by funders, with input of Therapeutic Services Manager and CEO as appropriate

3. Female Paid Sessional Supervisors

We are currently recruiting for paid sessional supervisors to provide supervision in our West London office. To apply you must have 5-years post qualification experience, be BACP/UKCP accredited and hold a supervision qualification. You must also have experience of working with domestic violence. We are looking for supervisors who can provide group supervision on all or some of the following times:
Monday 6.15-8.15pm, Wednesday 6.30-8.30pm, ad hoc cover for holidays etc.
We are also looking for supervisors who can provide monthly supervision for Woman’s Trust staff.
