Working with and supporting women who are affected by domestic violence can be demanding and challenging.

It is important that front line staff is well informed about services that can help, how to support women in crisis, what is helpful and what is not, how colleagues and teams can support each other and developing good practice within organisations.

Woman’s Trust can help you to develop specialist skills and knowledge within your workplace to enable staff to provide a high standard of service to women who are affected by domestic violence. We offer a comprehensive programme of domestic violence training for front-line workers in the public sector via training courses which are usually one day or two day events in central London. These provide high quality, low cost training for small organisations. An in-house training service is also available to meet the specific needs of individual agencies.
