General Questions

Q Can you tell what is happening with the client?
A All our services are confidential.  If you are another agency who wants to know what is happening we will not tell you unless we have the client’s consent.  Keeping the services confidential is critical for women to feel that they can trust us and feel free to talk about their experiences without fear or judgement.

Q Will you give me a report on her attendance?
A We will not provide a report on a woman’s attendance for any of our services.  With the client’s consent we will confirm if she is accessing our services, but no information on the content.  This ensures that we comply to the BACP Code of Ethics and is best practice for counselling services.

Q Is there a cost?

A All our services are free but as a charity we always welcome donations.

Q How can I make a donation?
A Donations can be made via the donation section on the website or you can send one directly to any of our offices.  If you are doing a sponsored activity such as running race, then we are happy for you to do this for us.

Q How are your services funded?

A Woman’s Trust is funded via grants such as the Big Lottery, the Home Office, Kensington Chelsea Community Safety Team, Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsae, Westminster City Council, Greenwich Council and Barking & Dagenham PCT and a range of other trusts and charities, including Tudor Trust, Wates Foundation, Supporting People, The Rufford Maurice Laing Foundation and the Waterside Trust.   We are always seeking new sources of funding to maintain and expand our services.  If you would to make a donation or become a corporate supporter, please go to Link to donations

Q How do you measure the outcomes of the services?

A We use our own service user questionnaire and aim to introduce CORE monitoring in the future.
