Woman’s Trust seeks a trained therapist to co-ordinate our counselling service with responsibility for the provision of mental health services for women affected by domestic violence in East London

Requirements

• Co-ordination of Woman’s Trust services.
• Providing support and counselling to women contacting the service.
• Counselling service provision.
• Recruitment and training of volunteer counsellors.
• Recruitment and induction of staff.
• Liaison with other agencies.
• Budget management.

A diploma in Humanistic Counselling or equivalent, an awareness of domestic violence issues including its effects on women and an understanding of equal opportunities are essential.

• Excellent IT skills including word-processing, accounting packages, databases, Internet and web sites
• Excellent administrative and finance skills
• Experience of working in the voluntary or public sector

3)Female Fundraiser

Salary £12,000-£18,000pa (21 hours pw, £20,000-£30,000 pro rata depending on experience )This post is women only Section 7.2(E) of the Sex Discrimination Act applies. Woman’s Trust seeks an enthusiastic, highly organised and first rate Fundraiser to be responsible for the research and development of the organisation’s fundraising function.  

 Requirements

·To draft, edit and submit funding applications.
·To research funding opportunities.
·To build effective networks with key trusts.
·To build up a knowledge-base of suitable funding bodies.
·To co-ordinate the submission of grants and support the reporting process.
·To deal quickly and effectively with all fundraising queries.
·To work closely with the Director, Head of Admin and Accounts Manager to ensure a joined up approach to fundraising A commitment to equal opportunities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
